Dear Dr. Reisfeld & Staff:
I would like to thank you tremendously for 2 successful surgeries! I have never been so happy to have BOTH dry hands and dry feet. It is truly a miracle I thought could never happen. You performed the ETS surgery for my hands in August of 2003. I have had perfectly dry hands since. Even when I am nervous, or extremely hot, my hands do not even perspire a bit. My compensatory sweating is mild, and I only sweat in my trunk area when I am extremely hot (just like a normal person would).
However, my feet still sweated somewhat the same. I was on your website again at the beginning of the year, and noticed you were now doing the Lumbar Sympathectomy for the feet. I called your office, and as always, everyone was extremely nice, you even called me yourself several times to answer my questions. After praying about this for several months, I decided to do it. I am so happy I did. It is so wonderful to be able to buy whatever shoes I want to wear, and not have to only buy shoes that I can wear socks with.
I want to thank you, Dr. Reisfeld for going into this practice to help us “rare” people with this thing called hyperhidrosis. I am so thankful that you decided to make this your calling. It is truly a blessing. I will continue to tell people with this dreaded condition of what you have done for me. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Tara
