San

Orange County, CA, USA
Jiri A.Konecny
D.O.
As a
Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgeon, Dr.
Jiri Konecny has been providing
treatment and cure of excessive
sweating (hyperhidrosis) in Orange
County in Santa Ana and San Jose,
CA. Recently, the Center has
acquired the Harmonic Scalpel - a
State-of-the-Art cutting instrument,
which utilizes high-frequency ultrasonic
energy (55,500 vibrations per second) to
allow precise dissection of tissues at
relatively low temperature, without
damage to surrounding tissues (other
nerves, etc). This instrument permits
Sympathectomy at a higher level of the
sympathetic chain, thus expanding the
indications of this surgery to facial
sweating and blushing in addition to hand
and armpit sweating. Each patient has to
be evaluated individually to determine if
he/she is a candidate for the ETS
and what level of the sympathetic chain
needs to be addressed. Dr. Konecny was
awarded in 2004-2005 "America's Top
Surgeons" by the Consumers
Research Council of America.

Belo
Horizonte, Brazil
João B. V.
Duarte
M.D.
Since 1988, Dr. João B. V. Duarte has been
the partner of Dr. Peter Kux, and they have performed
more than 7,000 ETS surgeries. Dr. Kux is a celebrated
pioneer in the field who began performing the ETS
surgical technique in 1947 and has been further
developing ETS in Brazil since 1954. His technique is
now being used by other ETS surgeons around the world.
Based on their vast and long experience in this field,
in recent years, Dr. Duarte and Dr. Kux have developed a
successful REVOLUTIONARY TECHNIQUE that almost
eliminates the chance of occurrence of compensatory
sweating. With their new technique, performed on an
outpatient basis, they have treated palmar, axillar, and
facial hyperhidrosis, with a chance to reduce plantar
hyperhidrosis in 94% of the patients operated on, when
it is associated with the other conditions. Facial
Blushing,
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and Vasomotor
Rhinitis can also be treated successfully with this new
method. Usually, patients are able to return to
their normal activities the day after the surgery.
You can now have
surgery in Brazil by one of the world's
