Dr. Peter Mikhail received his medical degree from McGill University in Montréal, Quebec. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Toronto. He went on to complete his Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery training at the University of Florida. Dr. Mikhail has a special interest in the minimally invasive thoracoscopic treatment for hyperhidrosis. His other interests include minimally invasive thoracic surgery and minimally invasive valve surgery. Dr. Mikhail is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, The American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Multiple articles on thoracic surgery and cardiovascular procedures have been published by Peter Mikhail, M.D. in various medical journals.
